Duvalia is a unique Type 3 Plagas variation that occurs in human hosts after the host's death.
History
Similar to the Cephalo, the Duvalia is a manifested mutation the Plaga parasite takes once it has detected that vital movement of its host has stopped. The parasite mutates for self-defense and in this case becomes a mutant with large, thick crust. Its rapid growth in size causes its Majini host's entire upper body to explode.
Attributes
The Duvalia attacks by bashing against its prey with its thick crust, or by attempting to 'eat' its prey.
Etymology
The Duvalia is named after a succulent plant native to South and Tropical Africa due to their close physical resemblance. The word "duvalia" itself means "Carrion Flower" in Swahili.
