"Blob" was the name given to mutated test subjects which were created as a result of experiments performed by Ozwell E. Spencer within the Spencer Estate in an effort to develop a virus with the ability to make a host immortal.
History
After being betrayed by Alex Wesker, Ozwell E. Spencer began conducting rushed experiments with the Progenitor virus in a desperate attempt to develop a virus which could make him immortal. Using innocent humans as test subjects, he ordered his butler Patrick to administer the viral strains he created. Some of the test subjects mutated into the "Blob" creature. In 2006, several of the creatures began to freely roam the Spencer Estate and acquired ship anchors from harbor warehouses connected to the estate. They were presumably destroyed by Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and the BSAA.
Attributes
The Blob was characterized by it's faceless appearance, with its human face having mutated into an unrecognizable form resembling a lamprey eel. It had a large tumour on its back, which leaked acidic blood when damaged. A large eye was also present on its back, resembling the eyes present on Lisa Trevor and creatures developed from the G-virus. This giant eye trait is believed to be a trait from the Progenitor virus. They possessed great strength which allowed them to carry anchors as weapons, indicating some remaining intelligence.
