History
Andy Holland was a low level caretaker who was personally headhunted by Umbrella. A former researcher, he was transferred to Sheena Island with the promise of a lucrative pay-packet and the chance of a happy and care-free life. He felt this was his natural reward for all his endeavours over the years.
This dream however, soon turned sour, as Andy became a mere caretaker who resided in an underground storeroom in the city sewers away from the hustle and bustle of the city above. Andy soon ran into Ark Thompson, a spy who was at the time impersonating the commander of the island, Vincent Goldman. Andy, not knowing any better accepted the impersonation as genuine and treated Ark in a respectable and diplomatic manner. After attempted to take a photograph of Ark out of good will, Andy was scolded due to the possibility of Ark's cover being blown.
However, when the real Vincent caught wind of Ark's spying on his dealings and subsequent impersonation, he released the T-virus throughout the city, as well as countless B.O.W.s. Andy instantly blamed the person who he believed to be Vincent since he had no knowledge of Ark's true identity and had never seen Vincent's face before.
Avoiding infection in the damp sewer conditions, Andy re-emerged a bitter and enraged man, hell-bent on killing Ark for supposedly causing this outbreak in the city. In Andy's mistaken belief, he began his plan to eliminate Ark. This involved prank telephone calls on the public network and random assassination attempts from far distances. All of which proved to be in vein as Ark was able to successfully avoid any attempts by the crazed caretaker.
It is presumed that Andy was killed when the island exploded.
