ALBERT WESKER
The man who is the mastermind behind the biohazard incident in Amparo, and has been involved in all virus schemes that have been confirmed so far.
Since he took up his new post as an executive officer candidate employee of Umbrella in the 1970s, he played an active part as a capable researcher at the forefront of the virus research that Umbrella promoted.
However, when research of the t-Virus reached a level of completion at the hand of his fellow researcher William Birkin, Wesker transferred to the Intelligence Department.
Wesker was inaugurated as the Captain of S.T.A.R.S., and hid his true nature. During the Mansion Incident, he planned to use his subordinates to collect the combat data of the B.O.W.s which were near completion.
Although his true nature was detected by the S.T.A.R.S. members who survived, including Chris Redfield, he took advantage of the chaos caused by the B.O.W.s running wild and escaped from the laboratory, carrying out a turnover to a rival company with a vast quantity of actual combat data as a gift.
That same year, in the case of the biohazard incident in Raccoon City, he requested assistance from the spy Ada Wong, and just before the bombing, secretly acquired a sample of the G-Virus that William developed.
Furthermore, several months later, in search of t-Veronica which was developed by Alexia Ashford, Wesker attacked Rockfort Island and the Antarctic Base under the Ashford family's jurisdiction.
He took the body of Steve Burnside, which contained t-Veronica.
Greeting the new century and turning his attention to South America... Wesker came into contact with the former druglord Javier Hidalgo, who was desperately searching for a cure for his daughter, and sold t-Veronica to him as a revival medicine in exchange for a large sum of money, and organized a coalition.
In truth, he was revived by a virus, and received benefits of ability strengthening from the virus.
What Wesker's true intention was for putting t-Veronica in the hands of Javier, which could affect the entire continent, no one knows.

アルバート・ウェスカー
アムパロにおける生物災害事件の黒幕にして、これまでに確認された全てのウィルス計画に関係している人物。
1970年代に、アンブレラ幹部候補社員として着任して以来、彼はアンブレラが推し進めるウィルス研究の最前線で、有能な研究員として活躍していた。
しかし、t-ウィルスの研究が同僚のウィリアム・バーキンの手によって完成の域に達した頃、ウェスカーは情報部へ転属、不穏な行動を取るようになる。
正体を隠してS.T.A.R.S.の隊長に就任したウェスカーは、洋館事件の際、部下達を利用して完成間近のB.O.W.の戦闘データを回収しようとする。
途中、クリス・レッドフィールドを含め一部生き残ったS.T.A.R.S.隊員らに正体を見破られてしまうが、B.O.Wの暴走による混乱に乗じて研究所を脱出し、膨大な実戦データを手土産にライバル企業への転身を果たす。
同年、ラクーンシティにおける生物災害事件の際、彼はスパイのエイダ・ウォンに協力を要請し、爆撃寸前のラクーンシティからウィリアムの開発したＧ-ウィルスのサンプルを密かに回収している。
更にその数ヶ月後、アレクシア・アシュフォードが開発したt-Veronicaを狙ったウェスカーはアシュフォード家管轄のロックフォート島及び南極基地を襲撃。
t-Veronicaを留めたスティーブ・バーンサイドの死体を持ち去った。
そして新世紀を迎えた、南米...娘の治療法を必死に探す元麻薬王ハヴィエ・ヒダルゴに接触したウェスカーは、t-Veronicaを蘇生薬として大金と組織的結託を引き換えに売りつける。
実は彼自身ウィルスによる蘇生、ウィルスでの能力強化の恩恵を受けた者である。
ともすれば大陸全土に影響するt-Veronicaをハヴィエに渡した、その真意を知る者はいない。
